The story of Griffin Moving & Storage began in the early 1940s when John Griffin Sr. developed a reputation as an expert mover of pianos and organs for orchestras, schools, churches, and piano retailers in New York City. As his business grew, John Griffin Sr. expanded his services to include household moves, and his signature logo of two men moving a grand piano and bench became synonymous with his company. His focus on customer service and attention to detail earned him a loyal following, and his business thrived.

Our Expansion to South Florida

In the 1970s, John Griffin Jr. set out to expand the business to South Florida, recognizing the region's rapid growth and need for professional moving services. He built a state-of-the-art storage facility in Fort Lauderdale and established Griffin Moving & Storage as a trusted provider of moving and storage solutions.

Our Partnership with Allied Van Lines
