We offer a variety of moving services, including home, office, and apartment moves, as well as moving large items like pianos and safes. Our services also include loading, unloading, packing, and providing packing supplies. If needed, we'll disassemble and reassemble any furniture for you. To ensure your belongings are safe during the move, we use furniture blankets and stretch wrap protection.

We're not just a moving company; we're a family. Our family opened Island Moving with a simple philosophy: "You build a great moving company by giving great service every move." We're active members of our community, involved in First Scots Presbyterian Church, and have three beautiful children in different schools in Daniel Island, Charleston, and Mount Pleasant. Our beloved yellow Lab is also part of the family and receives the best home schooling.

Licenses and Insurance

We're licensed and insured for your protection. Our Public Service Commission class E certificate, granted on October 13, 1998, allows us to move goods between points and places in Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Dorchester, Georgetown, and Horry counties, SC. We also carry required cargo insurance for your goods and liability insurance for coverage on the vehicle carrying your goods. Additionally, we have a general liability policy for any additional coverage needed.
