Amerisafe's poor customer service and lack of transparency led to a disastrous experience for one customer, Cynthia Witherspoon. Despite being told by a phone operator that she would receive a full refund if she canceled the move within 72 hours, she was denied a refund due to the non-refundable clause in the contract. The operator failed to inform her that the 2-week period had already passed.
