Washington Movers Conference

The Washington Movers Conference (WMC) is the statewide not-for-profit trade association for moving and storage companies permitted to do business in Washington State. Since 1913, we have been promoting professionalism in the moving industry by providing a platform for our member companies to abide by a code of conduct, ensuring that customers receive honest, legal, and efficient service.

As a condition of membership, each mover member agrees to adhere to a strict code of conduct, promising to provide Washington moving consumers with trained personnel, clean and safe equipment, and efficient service. The WMC provides extensive consumer information on how to make smart choices when preparing for a residential or commercial move, and we regularly act as a liaison between our members, consumers, regulatory agencies, and the media.
